This Hacketts dual speed chain block or manual chain hoist or block and tackle as they are often called is available in a range of models. Working load limits range from 3.2 tonnes up to 50 tonnes.

This hoist is able to both lower as well as lift up to 5 times quicker than a standard hoist when unloaded. Enabling super quick load attachment. Speeds are similar to a standard hoist when loaded.

This enables very smooth speed transmittal between the standard and higher speed modes without the need for a neutral position.
