Viper Beam Clamp Details
The Viper beam clamp is one of the cheapest, rated clamps on the market (BS EN 13155). With its heavy duty design and adjustability it is ideal for lifting loads in a stationary position. The Viper clamp boasts a minimum breaking load of four times the maximum stated working load limit.
The jaws that fit to a steel beam are designed so that the load and forces applied are kept away from the very edge of the beam flanges, thus reducing stress.
The central threaded bar enables easy fitting and adjustments by simply screwing in or out, thus moving the jaws closer together or moving them wider apart to get the perfect fit with your beam.
When it comes to attaching your chosen lifting hoist there is a good sized shackle type anchoring eye at the lower end of the clamp. When fitted correctly its position means your hoist will be in line with the centre of gravity for optimum stability.
Other Anchor Points For Lifting Hoists
If your set up requires a stationary anchor for your hoist then we have a few other beam clamps to consider including ones from Yale and Camlok.
Should you require your hoist and load to move across a beam then a hoist trolley would suit your needs. We have a choice of push travel, geared travel and powered travel trolleys available with a choice of specifications. Lifting Slings and shackles can also be supplied to complete your lifting set up.
