Camlok Beam Clamp SC92 Specifics
Robust, versatile and easy to use, the Camlok beam clamp SC92 create a robust anchor point when it comes to securing a lifting hoist to a steel beam (typically on a crane).
Offering a safe and secure grip onto the steel beam flanges, thanks to the central threaded spindle used to adjust the jaws. There are variations in the adjustment range depending on the models working load limit. For example the smallest 1000kg model can adjust to suit beams from 75mm up to 210mm; the largest 20000kg model adjusts from 300mm to 410mm. You can find out the specific details for each model in the specifications tab above.
The shackle eye where you attach your hoist will also vary in size according to model. The smallest inside eye maximum width is 44mm, going up to 82mm on the 10 tonne model.
It is worth noting that this clamp is a suspension point, it must not be inverted and used for lifting a beam.
More Clamps and Trolleys
Whilst beam clamps provide a great anchor point, they remain in the fitted location until manually removed, a trolley can propel the hoist and load along the length of the beam. Therefore a trolley system may be more beneficial if your operation required loads to be moved to a new location.
Lifting Hoists Direct can supply a range of beam clamps and hoist trolleys at keen prices.
