When deciding on the size of your gantry please bear in mind that we usually refer to the useable area rather than the overall dimensions, although all the precise measurements can be found in the specifications above.

Based on our newly calculated Euro code regulations we can manufacture these ½ tonne A frame gantries with a ‘working span’ up to 6 metres; this is the actual useable length of the top beam. Please bear in mind if you use a trolley the loading span will be a little smaller due to the trolley size. For example if the gantry has a working span of 4 metres the length the trolley can travel will be 3700mm.

When it comes to the height we typically refer to the height to the underside of the top beam – the useable height. The overall height will be a little taller due to the beam size, so bear this in mind and make sure it will fit into your working are without hindrance.

Gantry Accessories Available

The majority of these A frame cranes are made with castors (2 braked as standard) so the gantry can be moved around the workplace although not whilst loaded. Always take the gantry to the load! If you only need the gantry in one particular area you could consider plated feet which can be floor mounted using bolts for a semi-permanent lifting solution with excellent stability.

Electric isolators, parking jacks, additional castor locks/brakes, catenary systems, trolleys and hoists are all items we can supply to ensure you get the full lifting set up in one go whilst ensuring each component will work well together.
