2 Tonne A Frame Gantry Options
There are a number of options to consider to get a truly bespoke lifting gantry. First and foremost would you like to be able to move your gantry around? If you do, you will need the castor option. This will enable the gantry to be moved to wherever you have a load that needs lifting, although you should not move the gantry whilst it is holding a load, because the load could swing and cause the gantry to become unstable and potentially tip.
If you only need the gantry to be used in one place then the plated feet option is worth considering. The plated feet can be bolted into the ground to create a semi-permanent crane with excellent stability.
2000kg A Frame Gantry Sizes
The overall physical sizes can be found in the specifications tables above; these are different to the useable working area. The maximum height under the beam (the actual lifting area) can be up to 5 metres high. When calculating how high you need to lift a load, don’t forget to factor in other equipment such as trolleys and hoists.
The working span of the top beam can be up to 6 metres in length, this is the maximum area of movement across the beam, however don’t forget to factor in the size of your trolley! The lifting point is central in the trolley so won’t go right to the end of the beam.
2 Tonne Lifting Gantry Customisations
Just like our other lifting gantry systems catenary’s, isolators, parking jacks, extra brakes on castors (only 2 come as standard) can all be added during manufacture. You can also choose to add in some lifting equipment such as beam trolleys and hoists. Lifting slings and shackles can also be found on our website under the hoist associated lifting equipment category.
