Customising your 1 Tonne A Frame Gantry

Capable of handling loads up to 1 tonne our A frame lifting gantry systems can be made in our own factory to suit your needs. Choose the working span you need up to 6 metres and the lifting height under the top beam up to 5 metres (overall dimensions will be slightly larger – see specifications).

Next choose whether you need the gantry to stay in one place and opt for plated feet for floor bolting or would you like it to be mobile so you can move it around to lift in multiple areas – opt for castors if you need this option (2 will incorporate brakes as standard).

Now you can decide whether you need any optional accessories. Parking jacks are a popular accessory and ideal for use on uneven ground. Each leg will have an adjustable jack to enable you to set the gantry to be perfectly level ready for lifting; they add much more stability to the gantry too.

Other accessories you may like are catenary systems, with or without festoons – ideal when powered equipment is used so the cables can be held safely. Isolator switches, knockout boxes, and power sockets are other options.

Lifting Equipment for your Gantry

The A frame gantry simply provides a framework from which lifting equipment is attached. We can supply a wide range of beam attachments as well as manual chain blocks and electric hoists  with or without remote controllers at competitive prices should you need them; or simply use your own.
