Cobra 2 Leg G80 Chain Sling Features

With two chain legs fitted into a master link this grade 80 chain sling is suitable for many heavy duty lifting tasks. The short link chain is easier to handle than standard chain and comes with a black lacquered finish for added durability.

Shortening grab hooks are available and fit into the master-link to enable the chain lengths to be adjusted according to your load and lifting set up. This is the only safe way to shorten chain without permanently grinding off some links.

Grade 80 Component Options

We have put together four of the most popular asked for loading components detailed below, however if you need something different please get in touch, we can usually make up any sling to suit your needs in our workshop.

Clevis sling hook; A popular hook with a safety catch which is spring loaded for easy and secure load attachment. The Clevis fitting enables easy removal.

Clevis self locking hook; These hooks open up to give you a wider throat opening and lock shut when the load is applied.

Clevis C hook; There is no safety lock with these hooks and must be used with caution and only where the lock is not required.

Swivel self locking hook; With a swivel eye fitting these are permanently fitted into the chain link. The swivelling motion enables easier placement and load attachment whilst also providing a larger opening and self locking action.
