3 Leg Chain Sling

A 3 leg chain sling consists of 3 separate lengths of grade 8 chain which are connected together with a master link. The master link enables you to quickly attach the sling to your hoisting device. At the end of each leg you have a choice of components which enable easy load attachment. Sling hooks with safety catches or self locking hooks are the most used types.
If you find the length of your chain legs are too long for occasional lifting tasks then a shortening clutch can be used. These clutches will temporarily shorten a chain leg in a safe way. You must never attempt to cut, tie or knot chain. Never attempt to shorten it by any other means unless done by a professional.
3 Leg Chain Sling Specifics

If you would like to make your purchase online then we offer 3 leg chain slings with chain diameters from 7 to 22mm which give you a working load limit range from 3.15 tonnes to 31.5 tonnes. When it comes to length our standard online options range from 1 metre up to 10 metres; this measurement is taken from bearing to bearing.
